Fill All Ram Slots Or Not Working

The 7700k supports up to 64gb of ddr4, I don't see a reason to buy any more as you won't be able to utilize it. Also, z270 is a consumer chipset and only supports dual channel memory. Poker rooms in bellingham washington county. It won't improve anything speed-wise filling all 4 slots.

The motherboard I am getting (ASUS P5WD2) has four slots for memory, total of 8 Gig. I'm going to put 2 Gig in (need it for large video editing files) Am I better off to get 4 512s and fill all slots so if one goes bad I can replace at cheaper price or am I better off to go with two 1 Gig sticks? Will that board run on only 1 stick or does it need to be in pairs? If the memory needs to be installed in pairs, then I think it would be better to have 4 sticks so you can troubleshoot memory.
What do you think?
And what about memory brands? Is Altas Good? If not what is do you recommend?

No, will be better w/ 4x8GB, less stress on the MC (memory controller) with only 4 sticks and ever so slightly better performance, only fill all slots if maxing out the DRAM 0. A bunch of people are saying 'the performance is worse', but not explaining why. There are two main things that can happen that would affect performance. It is not uncommon for computers to have all memory slots occupied. If all slots are full and you want to upgrade the computer memory, you need to remove some or all of the existing memory. Why are the memory slots different colors? When a motherboard has different colored memory slots, it indicates the memory slots are dual-channel, and pairs.
